Our Life – DFW Lifestyle Photography

I have been doing my best lately to document my own family just doing our thing and having fun. My oldest loves to ride his brother’s Razor Big Wheel. After his soccer game on Saturday he spent some time spinning circles for me and having a blast. He actually asked me to take his picture. He was looking for some awesome moves to print and display in his room.:)I will take whatever I can get when it comes to them asking me to photograph them.

Lifestyle Newborn Session – Dallas Newborn Photographer

This session was one I will probably never forget. About halfway through my newborn session I noticed my husband had called me at least 10 times…and sent a large number of text messages. Turns out that our daugher (was totally fine) but had taken a big stumble at the playground and was in the ER getting a few staples in her head! Yikes! My clients were super understanding and we finished up their session and got some images that I am sure they will love for years to come.

2 years old – Dallas Child Photographer

I love this session. This little girl is just a living doll and we have had so much fun documenting her years together. Her mom brought some sunflowers to the session as they hadn’t yet bloomed for the season when we did our pictures. I brought the bubbles and we had fun capturing sweet little B as a two year old!

I love when I can convince moms to hop in for a few frames! Love!

Batting Practice – Grapevine Lifestyle Photographer

I have been trying to get out there with my good camera to take more pictures of my own family. I typaically carry just my phone because, well it’s easy and it is light weight. That means that the majority of the pictures I have of my own kids from the past few years aren’t anything I would really love to print out and hang on the wall. The other night we went to the park to play and I decided to experiment with taking silhouette shots, which I have never done before. I am pretty pleased with the results but I want to try again in a different location sometime. This place was pretty flat and I couldn’t get the trees out of the background despite my laying on the ground to get the shot.

This is my middle’s first year to play baseball. I love watching him play. I hope he continues to play baseball for a while.

The G Twins are One – Dallas Family Photographer

This is an older session that for some reason never made it on the blog. These pictures were taken in Northern Virginia around the time of the Cherry Blossoms blooming. If you look closely you can see one little tree with blooms on it in the background of an image. I had so much fun with these boys…and I had a very hard time narrowing down the images to showcase in this blog post. 😉
