Spring Mini Sessions – DFW Photographer

I am teaming up again with one of my best photographer friends, Karyn Kayle Photography, to bring you Spring Mini Sessions 2016! These sessions will be approximately 20 minutes and you will receive the best 8 digital images. Karyn and I will get together after your session to choose the absolute best of the best images between the two of us. We shot fall mini sessions together last year and we had the best time doing it. The sessions will take place somewhere in the Flower Mound area. We are still working to determine the best locations (hoping we have either bluebonnets or wildflowers by March 19th).

If you traditionally do your family pictures in the fall or around Christmas, then change it up this year. Spring mini sessions are fun, fresh and give you a real chance to have a great pop of color!

Three Generations – Lantana Family Photographer

In April of last year I learned that one of my best friends was going to be moving to our area. In June, she and her family finally arrived.:)To say that our friendship has flourished since her family moved to Texas would be a huge understatement. I feel so blessed to have these people in my life!! By Novemember of last year her parents had even decided to relocate to the area as well! Before they found their house though, we did a quick 3 generations session one afternoon. These girls are so blessed to have such wonderful grandparents in their lives. They are super involved, loving and they want to be there for the big and small moments and everything else in between.:)It was such a pleasure to photograph this family!

We did this session quickly — maybe 15 minutes while we were having a playdate with my family of all things! The session was at a neighborhood park in Lantana, TX. You don’t need a big, fancy locatioin for your photo session. While it is nice, it is better to have the images and you can find ideal locations just about anywhere!!

The L Family – Denton County Family Photographer

Finally posting another great fall session! This family was so much fun! The boys had a ton of energy and we had so much fun. In between wrestling and a few dance parties we captured some of my favorite images of the entire fall! I met this family right off the bat when we moved to Texas. This mom is so sweet and her family is precious! It was so much fun working with them and I can’t wait to do it again!

This session took place at one of my favorite parks in Flower Mound, Texas. This park is fantastic in the evening and offers some amazing sunset lighting. If you are interested in this location, please let me know at booking. Please make sure you like me on Facebook to keep up with session offerings!

One of My Favorites – Loudoun County Family Photographer

This fall I was able to take a trip to Virginia to visit some of my best girl friends. This family is one of the reasons I was so sad when we left Virginia. They are simply wonderful. We have had the opportunity to travel with them in the past and hopefully in the future, too. Our kids get along, our husbands get along and well we are just great friends! She made surviving the toddler years a little easier and she is always there anytime I need an ear!:)

While I went to visit friends, I did have time to photograph some of my long time clients. This family has been with me from the very beginnning of my photography career. I have lost track of the number of times that I have photographed them, but it is a lot. They have always loved their images, even when the images were not the best…let’s face it the beginning of anyone’s photography journey isn’t the best. Then there are days of struggling to find your style. This family has always encouraged me and always supported me.:)I love these little girls almost like they were my very own family. It has been so fun to see them grow. K family, I hope you love your fall pictures as much as I do!

Winner, Winner! – Denton County Family Photographer

In November I auctioned off a session at my daughter’s preschool. This family won the auction and made a generous donation to our wonderful school.:)I had very little availibility left in my fall schedule at the time but this family was really flexible and we lucked out with a day of incredible weather for their session. It was so much fun meeting this family. They have the best family dynamic and these two brothers love each other so much! Big brother is a fantastic kid. He was so well behaved and listened not only to me but to his parents as well!:)That made for one super fast and fun family session!

This session was shot at one of my favorite parks in Flower Mound, TX. This park is really best suited for an evening session (the light is simply divine) and is typically not that crowded! If you are interested in this location then please plan for a late afternoon or evening session depending on the time of the year. I also noticed that they have a wildflower area in the park. I am not sure what that will look like in the spring but it could make for some beautiful images!
