The L Family – Denton County Family Photographer

Finally posting another great fall session! This family was so much fun! The boys had a ton of energy and we had so much fun. In between wrestling and a few dance parties we captured some of my favorite images of the entire fall! I met this family right off the bat when we moved to Texas. This mom is so sweet and her family is precious! It was so much fun working with them and I can’t wait to do it again!

This session took place at one of my favorite parks in Flower Mound, Texas. This park is fantastic in the evening and offers some amazing sunset lighting. If you are interested in this location, please let me know at booking. Please make sure you like me on Facebook to keep up with session offerings!

One of My Favorites – Loudoun County Family Photographer

This fall I was able to take a trip to Virginia to visit some of my best girl friends. This family is one of the reasons I was so sad when we left Virginia. They are simply wonderful. We have had the opportunity to travel with them in the past and hopefully in the future, too. Our kids get along, our husbands get along and well we are just great friends! She made surviving the toddler years a little easier and she is always there anytime I need an ear!:)

While I went to visit friends, I did have time to photograph some of my long time clients. This family has been with me from the very beginnning of my photography career. I have lost track of the number of times that I have photographed them, but it is a lot. They have always loved their images, even when the images were not the best…let’s face it the beginning of anyone’s photography journey isn’t the best. Then there are days of struggling to find your style. This family has always encouraged me and always supported me.:)I love these little girls almost like they were my very own family. It has been so fun to see them grow. K family, I hope you love your fall pictures as much as I do!

Winner, Winner! – Denton County Family Photographer

In November I auctioned off a session at my daughter’s preschool. This family won the auction and made a generous donation to our wonderful school.:)I had very little availibility left in my fall schedule at the time but this family was really flexible and we lucked out with a day of incredible weather for their session. It was so much fun meeting this family. They have the best family dynamic and these two brothers love each other so much! Big brother is a fantastic kid. He was so well behaved and listened not only to me but to his parents as well!:)That made for one super fast and fun family session!

This session was shot at one of my favorite parks in Flower Mound, TX. This park is really best suited for an evening session (the light is simply divine) and is typically not that crowded! If you are interested in this location then please plan for a late afternoon or evening session depending on the time of the year. I also noticed that they have a wildflower area in the park. I am not sure what that will look like in the spring but it could make for some beautiful images!

Photographer Session – Grapevine Family Session

My good friend Karyn of Karyn Kayle Photography and I recently did a session swap. She did a session with my family and then a couple of weeks later I was able to photograp her family. Karyn and I met late this summer. We discovered that we were in the same moms group at a local church. The next day, we met again at preschool orientation. Then a week or so later we ran into each other checking our kids into church child care. A few weeks after that we discovered that we had both lived in the same area previously and after getting to know each other a little better we realized that we were both photographers (who were considering jumping back into business). I truly believe that God puts people into your life for a reason and I am so happy to say that I know Karyn and her family. It was so much fun to photograp her family! Her kids are really just a joy. Her husband is so laid-back and easy going. I hope we get to do more session swaps in the future!:)

Two Weeks Old – Flower Mound Newborn Photographer

Back in October, I had the opportunity to photograph this sweet baby girl right as she was turning two weeks old. Her grandparents were visiting from California and the Mom really wanted me to get a few pictures of her parents with their youngest grandchild. Watching the grandparents interact with the newest member of their family made my heart happy. I love these photos so much! I loved how Grandma laughed about the big, giant bows that I had with me. She was not a big fan and thinks babies are better looking without any accessories. ๐Ÿ˜‰

This was a quick session, which we completed in just less than an hour. Typical posed newborn sessions take 2-3 hours to complete. However, I am moving to doing less posed images and more lifestyle newborn images. These lifestyle newborn sessions are much quicker and we are able to document so many more sweet moments and details with your newborn baby!

G family, I was such a pleasure to work with you all!
